One day, as I was walking to work, I saw an old woman sitting in a park bench, staring blankly at the sky.

The weather was pretty bad that day and it seemed like nobody was out there. I decided to walk over and see what she was looking for.
I asked her if she wanted to talk and she replied, “Nope.” But I couldn’t help but ask why and when she told me, “I don’t have anything else to do than sit here.”
I listened intently to her story and tried not to let my mind wander. The sun was setting and the colors were starting to change. I finally found a reason why she didn’t want to talk and realized she needed some inspiration.
As I sat down on the bench and read a book about nature, I noticed something strange happening. Every time I turned around, the sky would start to glow. It was so bright that I could see all the other people’s faces.
I had always thought that natural light was just fake, but now I realized that it was actually really bright and colorful. I took another look up and saw even more stars up in the sky. And then, suddenly, everything started glowing again.
After that, I went back to the bench and talked to the old woman again. She was still staring blankly at the sky, but I noticed that she wasn’t angry or hurt. Instead, she looked happy and content.
From that day on, whenever I came home from work or walked to school, I would always turn around and see the same thing happen every time. It was like I had found a new source of inspiration and joy.
As I left the park that day, I felt inspired to take risks and try new things. Even though I never got a job that matched my skills and interests, I still learned to love life and enjoy the little things in life.

And that was one of the most important lessons I’ve learned about life.
